The Olde English Bulldogge breed has grown in popularity since its beginnings over 30
years ago, when the original line of dogs was created by David Leavitt.  The breed
name Olde English Bulldogge has been used by USA registries to describe
Bulldogs
similar in concept.  The emerging breed in Canada is referred to as the Olde Bulldogge.

Breeders of genuine Olde Bulldogges in Canada do not use English Bulldog cross
breed dogs in their programs. Buyer Beware! Bulldogge puppies produced from
English Bulldog cross breed puppies, especially dogs that have been inbred are at high
risk and could inherit many of the over 200 known Genetic health disorders reported
in dogs. A
Bulldog breeder can spend  thousands of dollars screening a breeding pair
for just 20 of those 200 genetic health disorders.

Experienced breeders know that the only way to produce a healthy Bulldogge is to
carefully select breeding pairs from established lines with proven traits. The
